Newbie intro

Hi, I'm fairly new to machining and have a Chinese mini-lathe that is being slowly upgraded with bolt-ons and mods. Also a mini-mill also about to have DRO attached and hopefully convert to belt drive. (one of the gears stripped the first time it jammed so only usable in "high")

I'm making quite a few tools which should both save me money and improve my abilities with the machines.

Interests for this work ulimately are model engines and clock making.
