hey thought i would join this forum, cause im tired of using car forums to discus ideas on making homemade tools, and then everybody telling me why i shouldn't or why waste your time. im a tinkerer and like using the creative side of my mind! so hopefully my ideas are a little more welcome here and can be discussed with out having people s**t on a idea.

Sorry to hear that you've had such disheartening experiences on other fora. I'm sure that your time here will be more fulfilling. Take some time to browse the site; you'll find lots of interesting tools and projects, both automotive-related and otherwise.

If you've got an idea to discuss for a homemade tool, post it here: Homemade Tools thread - you're certain to receive some helpful responses. Should you have a completed tool of your own to share, post it there and we'll be glad to add it to the database.

thanks ken, ya its a bummer, when ya have a idea and then everybody is like your a idiot! ya i have a few ideas floating around in my head, and i know some have been done before, so it will be nice to actually get help instead of being told its a waste of time.
