Thanks to many members of this forum, my YouTube channel has been growing steadily, and you all have my appreciation.

Since going into retirement, I've working on a lot of projects (mostly "pro bono") for local non-profits and charities. It keeps me busy, and I enjoy doing it. One day, I thought it would be fun to start filming what I was doing and share it online with others.

YouTube seemed to be the perfect platform, and right about that time, this forum also popped up. The YouTube thing has become a great hobby for me and I've been having fun; learning more and more about filming, lighting, editing, and so forth, with so much more to learn. This is what I think keeps me going these days! I don't make any money doing this, but it sure is fun!

I've been steadily growing my YouTube channel, and I held a random drawing giveaway among my subscribers when I reached the first milestone of 100 subscribers. It was quite a success and I had fun doing it, so I announced another 500 subscriber milestone giveaway, but I just recently decided I'd also have some "mini giveaways" at 200, 300, and 400 subscribers. As this video was filmed, I was at 168 subscribers.

There will be 1 subscriber name drawn at random, and there will be one prize for each of the “mini drawings at the 200, 300, and 400 subscriber milestones. The name drawn will receive a “Shoestring Shipyard” shop apron. The prizes and number of winners for the larger 500 subscriber, random drawing giveaway have yet to be determined, but will be announced as the number of subscribers grows closer to the mark.

No purchase is necessary. All that is required is that you are one of my subscribers, to have a chance at becoming a giveaway winner. Your privacy settings must be set to public though for your name to show among my subscribers listing, otherwise it will be hidden, and I won’t know you are a subscriber – and as such, you won’t be included in the drawing.

If you are already a subscriber and have won in the previous giveaway, you can possibly win again, as each drawing will be from all of my subscribers that appear on my subscriber list, regardless of past winnings.
