Nut Cracker

Totally different from my normal project, this one is a bit nuts!

Having broken a few of the nut crackers that you can buy from the convenience store I thought I would have a go at something different. Inspired by the time of year and just a break from the norm.



This is made from

• 1/4" thick mild steel plate
• 1/2" BSW thread
• Brass inner sleeve for nut that is threaded
• Bolt machined from hex mild steel
• 1" diameter thumb and finger grips

Is it interesting enough that you want a few dimensions?
