    Nyloc nuts

Hi all, I don't know if this has been covered before, If you have a Nyloc nut that wont hold because the locking material is not gripping, a medium tap with a hammer on the locking end of the nut will get you out of trouble .
This action will squash the nylon lock a little and it will grip the thread tighter.
    Cheers

Great tip Graham!! They can be frustrating especially if they're metric and don't have any replacements. Ran into that on fixing my shop chair the other day. Now I know what to do! Thanks!
