Hi all,

Like many of you, I'm a lover of tools and have been lurking around this site for ages. At 74, there's precious little time left for me to complete all the things on my bucket list, but at least I can complete a few.

About two years back I bought a 1953 South Bend lathe, model 10K and a small Atlas Horizontal Mill at an estate sale; Both appear to be in great shape, having had only one owner who used them for building museum quality scale locomotives out of brass.

I hope to clean these machines and bring them close to original condition. Then the challenge will be learning to operate and maintain them.

Just call me Old Codger. So long for now.
