One Wrench~!

If you have an Atlas lathe and a 3D printer, this little carriage lock wrench works surprisingly well, and stays out of the way. 'Been using it on my 10" Atlas for a while now and it works well for me:

Thanks, its an effort I make. Before I retired I worked for a printing company. My job was to target problem areas on the presses and make improvements via training, better maintenance or by changing a machine design. 90% of the time the problem was related to a bad design that required a lot of maintenance. Anyway, when looking for a solution I refused to look at other machines or to contact the machine manufacturer. Here's the problem this creates. It stops creativity, as soon as you see the ready made improved design it most often hinders your own thought process. When I finished my design idea, then I looked at options used on other machines or provided by the OEM. Over 50% of the time my idea was cheaper and more effective. Of course sometimes ready made fixes were good... and sometimes affordable but most often not.

Not to change the subject Winky but do you have plans for your B&S car for sale?

I have some old plans I'll post a link to. That are hard to read but usable. I also have some of of it drawn in CAD, I might make them available for a small fee if they turn out well. Lots of work making the drawings but they will me cheap. Maybe $10 bucks.
