    There were a number of different ships involved in this test. The one in the video may or may not be either USS England or USS Dale.
    It was after the 1963 treaty that banned atmospheric and underwater nuclear test detonations, so they used huge piles of TNT as a substitute for the nuke. It was probably quite a sight.

    says it is the light cruiser USS Atlanta (perhaps with all the turrets removed ?)

    It's tough to identify decommissoned ships. After a second look, you are probably right.
