Paint Shaker with a Twist

I've built paint shakers before using motors with reduction gearing and a crank to move a QuickGrip that holds the paint can up and down.
Thought I'd try something a little different this go-around.
This paint shaker uses a motor with a crank to move a large weldment lever back and forth in an arc. The paint can is held in place by a modified grease gun bracket that pivots about the upper end of the large lever.
A 1/2" x 9/16" ratcheting wrench was cut in half and each end then attached to a shaft that has both size hexes machined on the end.

Movement of the large lever that carries the 9/16" ratchet end through the arc causes it to rotate by a small amount with each reciprocation; in this case clock-wise. The 1/2" ratchet end is what keeps the rotation in check; else it would just go back and forth and not rotate.
The bracketry & paint can can be advanced easily in the same direction for ease of placement or removal.
Hopefully, the pix and video will show how it works.
If I were to do this again; I would opt for more RPMs (60 doesn't seem quite fast enough) and use sprag bearings in lieu
