I really enjoy these posts that Jon comes up with here in tool talk. For one many of them trigger long suppressed memories "forgotten" of places and things I have either visited or studied or just read about.
This one triggered a memory about the panama expansion project I had read about in a journal a long time ago, nd as per usual spurred me to digging into the annals of the infernal net for more information. Which always yields reads longer than my random postings if that is at all possible
