parallel riser blocks with tramming pins

In getting ready to mill the edge of an 8ft I beam I needed to raise it enough to clear the hand wheels of the bed and at the same time be able to maintain a reasonable tram while having to shift it along its length.
I have a couple of 1 1/2" square bars that are key-stock quality in squareness but had been painted. First I cut a couple 7" long pieces removed the paint then cut 2 pieces of 3/4 cold roll round stock and drilled them to 1/2" on the lathe then loosely bolted these to thew mill table
After placing the I beam on the blocks I trammed it to the table by tapping on it until it was against both pins then tightened the bolts to keep the tramming pins and the riser blocks in place
