    Yep, you read that tile right! This is a step by step guide on how to wire up a PID control box for your tempering oven, relow oven, bbq smoker, etc.

    I installed a PID control and SSR on an old kiln I bought for $25 at a yard sale. It now works great for tempering or melting aluminum. I think total investment was around $50 and I have a foundry that will melt more than 25# of aluminum at a time.
