They walked away = good landing Though it looks like he rounded the trees without being able to see if he was going to hit anyone on the road.

It seems like a plane landed on Interstate 81 several years ago this could be the same plane

Frank S, it's not the same plane/location that you linked to. The one in the gif is quite damaged, as seen at 1:09 in the video. The only way that plane is moving again is on a flat bed truck or trailer!
The one you linked to ran out of gas, landed safely on the side of the road and would be capable of flying again.

The area looked about like IH 81, there has been more than one plane land on that highway.
*I think I remember hearing of one landing on a flatbed trailer somewhere, but it may have been a movie stunt gone wrong.
Remember the commercial airline posted a while back that landed its nose gear on a truck. That was a testament of solid steel testicles.
