    Plumbing pipe plier

I am currently plumbing an outside room to use as a gym.

I tend to stick to using copper pipe as the trade off between cost of pipe vs cost of fitting is not that significant for me compared to the new PVC pipe options. Also PVC never truly straight once fitted to the wall. To use the cheep fittings I have to solder them onto the pipe.

After burning my fingers a couple of time trying to change the orientation of the fitting just a few degrees and a normal plier deforming the very hot fitting I cam up with this little tool.

It is made from some 6mm rod and bent to suit the 15mm pipe diameter. the 6 mm is about the same clearance as what the clamp to secure the pipe to the wall gives me, I did not bother with a fancy hinge arrangement as this is a pretty one off job and I am keen to get it done before I have to go back to work.

I like the two part pliers. Don't enjoy the burned fingers myself.
This could morf into a tool for other uses.
