Yes, sure, the smartphone is always of help for that also, but there are much more operations !
I am very often doing lots of CAD, making my own plans for luthiery projects, and in the world of luthiery, people (to my disappointment ) very often use imperial measures ! especially you guys in the US
But no problem, I can adapt ...
