Polyacrylamide polymer water-absorbing crystals. These are fun to play with, but don't make the mistake I made: DON'T DO THIS IN A SINK.

Just one of these little guys slips down the drain and blocks up a drainpipe perfectly. I think the sewer snake head also doesn't really break them up like a normal clog, because I had to snake that one crystal all the way through to the septic tank.
