My girlfriend is taking pottery classes. Every time I go see what they're doing, or when she tells me some new thing they learned, I just shake my head. They're struggling with the most simple problems that metal lathes solved decades ago. It blows my mind. A basic toolpost would solve 99% of the stuff she complains about.
