    As a retired fireman I have never seen them his type of tool. It is really cool but I can see why a switch was made to hydraulic tools

    How much power is stored in a 12 gauge round like that? I believe some aero engines were started that way.

    They did use something like shotgun blanks but was like 6 or 8 gauge. There’s also some tractors that used this same method for starting.

    I was thinking the same thing it needs to be an auto loader that way if it doesn't make the cut all the way the first time just pull the trigger again

    not a bad idea really,, good for remote places or multiple rescues,or tight places,where power unit cant be moved to..
