For your entertainment I'll share my gedanken-approach...

Select a suitable Torx bit, e.g. a T-30 which has a diameter of about 0.208"

Drill a suitably undersized hole in the end of the leadscrew. I would probably try a # 6 drill (0.204") or a # 7 (0.201)

Using a suitable BFH, drive the Torx bit into the hole leaving the 1/4" hex end exposed and awaiting the electric screwdriver.

"BFH" - now THAT would be a great homemade tool!
