    Power Pack for SLA battery

    Hi,
For both powering my "cordless to corded" drill and my landscape life camera (raspberry based, I will have to show that), I have designed this box, out of scrap plywood :
It is coated with several coats of outdoor clear lacquer.

Inside, I added an off/on switch, a couple of banana plugs, and a fuse holder, all from car supply parts.
Note I have put my phone number in case someone finds it in the landscape...

The worst thing about today's society if one can even still call it a society. is if someone finds your box in the woods with wires leading off somewhere they will do 1 of 2 things either just cut the wires and steal the thing or call 911 thinking it is a suspicious package which will imeadiatly involve the local bomb squad Swat BATF and the FBI. The local not news media will be the first to arrive then the talking heads will flood the airways spewing their usual tripe 400 un-useful idiots will swarm the site and ruin any possibility of you getting any pristine landscape photos. your house will be invaded your family will be hounded day and night The NRA will be blamed the Democrats will blame the President, the Republicans will blame the the liberals and NO ONE will have the intelligence to have used the phone number to call you in the first place to tell you what a great idea your boxed external battery supply was.

I live where I can still leave my keys in my truck with the windows rolled down and my shotgun or rifle in the back window and not worry that all will not still be there when I come out of the local hardware store. How can I do this? because our county where I live has 1 old fat Sheriff and 2 young deputies to keep us safe but I used to live in an area where people would call 911 if they found a half empty water bottle laying on the ground thinking it was a bomb even had swat called on me once for having an electric fence charger hooked up to a wire around my yard to keep the wife's dog from digging under the chain link fence. the transplanted valley woman thought I was trying to electrocute her

I really do like you battery supply box though

LOL. "It could only happen in the U.S." used to be a cliche here: now it could be almost anywhere....................except here in Black Mountain. Ha ha.
