    That takes me back a few decades... ok, more than a few. I just did amateur stuff with California job case, lead type, and manual feed presses. An uncle ran the Line-o-Type for a big publisher so he was worlds ahead of me.

    I don't know what they were using that for, but it isn't a normal lock up.
    I learned letterpress when I was 11 from a guy that was 72 at the time. He worked full time as a printer since he was 10 years old and worked until he was 78.
    Ah, the Good Ole Days!
