That is an amazing invention and Alaina will go far in this world with clever thinking like that. Why haven’t the big auto company’s thought of that?

Finally a useable safety feature for cars, now someone needs to invent an attentive driving feature that forces a driver to pay attention to all sides of their vehicle and the surroundings while driving
Never try to tell me it can't be done

Useful, but with so many cage aiming idiots filling their windscreen with huge GPS prat-navs and mobile phones blocking sight of vehicles and pedestrians it's only a sticking plaster.

I want two! I fact I could use two in my 2019 Ridgeline there is also a center post that blocks the view.

I could use that for the B pillar on my standard cab F150. Huge blindspot at intersections when I need to see to the right.

Clever idea. It seems a projector would have limited usefulness on directly sunlit environs (the demo video is shot in low light conditions, and for good reason)... perhaps having a backlit LCD wrap would be a solution, but a projector would certainly be more universal and therefor more cost effective.

re: directly sunlit environs If the sun was directly behind the drivers side it could get washed out otherwise it "sees" like it would be shaded by the pillar.

Even a flat LCD rectangle might work.

The idea is great but I have a hard time understanding why a narrow pillar is a ''blind spot''. My B pillar is about 18'' wide and if I am turning to the left at an intersection it effectively blocks my view of the road to the right.

Even with a narrow A and B pillar they still block the view, especially when turning left.
