I use that same setup for my 4000 watt Champion Generator. When I converted it to Natural Gas it took a while to get the gas flow dialed in right and I was getting tired of pulling on that darn pull start cord. The drill did the work and I made the flow adjustments with it spinning until it fired up. Turns out the suggested starting point for the gas flow was quite a bit off. I would have worn out my shoulder getting there.
My Craftsman weed Whacker came stock with a similar setup, although I never had to use, it. It always started good.

So - the bottom line is still that this is a great idea. It would be great if the guy is not going to sell them, then he could at least offer the plans for sale - seems there is sufficient interest from the community to build some - maybe make some upgrades - and for the creator to make a buck. Its been several years since this idea surfaced, some one should be interested in making these.
IMHO
Since Mr Brankif hasn't surfaced and it seems like there is a ton of interest I will post this which I found in common domain on the web.
I didn't really understand it but perhaps the DIY'ers out there can simplify.
Mr Brankif I do apologize if you did not want this information out there.

I've tried this way myself! The fatal problem I had was turning the engine in the wrong direction after removing the complete puller cover. Be careful, I snapped the nut right off the end of the crank. Game over!! Learning the hard way...
Nice Job!

Hi, There seems to be a video but for some reason it show up with a black
screen and no video. What gives? those anyone know why.
A super tool, brankif, but is it, or the plans for it, available? I know it's some time since your original posting showing it in action, and I assume the raffle has finished. At only 61 tickets sold by the time of your last post, it seems unlikely that you were able to make a significant donation to the World Heart Federation. Perhaps one reason for a low level of interest is that you don't state your location in your profile, and since HMT has a truely international membership many may have been put off by possible freight and customs duty concerns.
However, have you thought about selling plans for your machine on HMT? I would certainly be interested in buying a set, as I'm sure many other members would. This has the potential for significant fund raising.
