Interesting cuts in that video. This method works, but it takes a bit of experience. The same could be said for pretty much any sheet metal work. It would be a good idea to maybe use a regular propane torch instead of a modified lighter.

This works well. I've used it many times. The release agent being sprayed on at the end is just isopropyl alcohol.
