We also use field or farm wagons to haul silage and other agg products from soft earth fields to harder surfaces then transfer into transport trailers.
Note the tractor was also a tracked machine. Tracked vehicles in the fields are mostly used to reduce soil compaction.
Converter dollies are almost never used in the fields as they are near impossible to back up in soft or tilled soils instead a medium sized 4 wheeled drive or smaller articulating tractor with a fifth wheel attachment extending from the 3 point lift system which could be used to transport trailers.
I have a pintle adapter for my tractor and a converter dolly to move trailers around with which is fine as long as I am pulling but rapidly becomes a peta when trying to back up in soft dirt.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
