HI. I'm changing over a garage into a home woodworking shop. We built our house many years ago, and have since built a few desks and lesser projects. Most recently (4 Jan. 1017) mounted flexible neck desk lamp to my band saw. I enjoy seeing what others make.

How is the woodworking shop build going so far?

Shop progress is slow but advancing. Have new band saw in place, one workbench built and another beginning. All interior ceiling and walls painted with multiple coats of Behr white gloss paint. Nearly 20 amps of lighting via T5HO, T8, and T12 celing fixtures. Central vac system and ducting is done and works well. I read that an 80 year old person needs three times the lumens per square foot of floor area as does a young person.

Interesting, I had not heard that about lighting, but it makes perfect sense. Keep us posted on that shop, it sounds like it's coming along quite nicely.
