    The basket was originally part of a firewood elevator (i.e. to lift firewood from the ground, up to a high deck). The bar is where the cable attached. I wanted to remove it but the owner thought it might come in handy for some purpose and wanted it left on, could always remove it later if they want. Thanks for watching.
