Quick and easy machinist jacks

Many different variety's of machinist jacks out there but if you just want ones that work and real easy to make, all you need is some steel hex bar and some bolts/nuts!

Cut the hex bar (1-1/2 in my case) to whatever length you desire (make different size sets if you like), then chuck it up in the lathe, center drill and thread it for the bolt size you choose (fine thread is best) and put a nice taper on it to win style points. Your done!
