Quick simple saw horses
it seems that every time I make a pair of saw horses someone says hey I need a pair of those so I usually just give them to them it only takes a few minutes to make another pair
I started these by nailing 3 8 ft 2x4s together to make an "I" beam then cut 8 2x4s 32" long and nailed them in place then sued some scrap pieces as under braces
Attachment 40434
using the air nailer and butting the legs up to the I beams I saw no need to do any fancy coping or cutting at angles
Attachment 40435
then just saw in half a pair of horses can be made in about 15 minutes

Takes me way back to about 1961 or 1962. I was 7 or 8, and my Dad made me a kid-sized sawhorse for Christmas, pretty much like that, except 1x4 and about 18” high. I used that thing constantly till I left for college in 72. Thanks, Frank!

I have been thinking about hauling them to the vet and get them ID chipped that way if they gallop off somewhere they can be identified and sent home
