Radiator Brush
Here in the UK we commonly use radiators for our home heating. Most radiators are convector types which have fins to heat the air more efficiently than a simple flat panel.
Now these fins tend to collect a lot of dust over time. I have tried several method for cleaning them and finally decided I should make a dedicated brush.
Very simple, I harvested some moderately stiff bristles from a cheap pasting brush, inserted them between a folded piece of stiff garden wire and used my cordless drill to twist it up. Total length about 3ft. I recommend using just a few bristles otherwise it is likely to get stuck.
Works great and makes me feel like a little chimney sweep
Best used with a friend, one doing the brushing, another holding a vacuum underneath to catch the dust.
