Big business. I see rail wheelsets hauled north and south on I-29 all the time. A flatbed carries about a dozen. Thought many times; figuring if money for a lathe, gantry crane, rigging and all would generate payback in a reasonable time. The toolholder carries large carbide inserts, google "railroad tire turning inserts".
