Just set the landing legs release the hitch and retract the telescopic vertical tube the coupler is attached to. A lot of standard goose neck trailers are like this but most guys drop their tailgates if they are towing with a pickup. He cn not drop a tailgate so either he would have to raise the front of the trailer really high or retract the coupler.
