Notice at 03:19:46, the fire controlman appears to stoop, bend his knees? That counteracts shock of firing... despite displacement 45,000 tons; an overall length of 887'3", and beam (max width) of 108'2", draft (depth of hull below waterline, operational status) of 28'11", against a 2000 pound projectile exiting at ~ 2500 feet per second.
