I'm building a working model of av guillochemachine to pattern crystalglasses in glassworks.
Originally it it,s a steelrod writing the pattern on the waxed glass, and then etched with hydrofluoric acid.
But I´m using av laserpen instead, making the pattern on a can coated with fluorescent paint.
And the machinery is made of wood instead of the original gears of casted iron.
But I hope it will work??!!.
The problem now is to calculate and make the cams to lift the laserpen synchronous with the rotating table for the glass. The table rotates back and forth according to the wanted pattern.
Is there any CNC-code out there to mill the cams?
