    My luck none of them would properly retract, and I would plow every one of them off when time to get ready for the next planting.

    Probably how the last one broke...

    You know, I hadn't thought of this, but those risers are about 15:1 aspect ratio (I measured from a screen capture) and it looks like three sections. Figuring you need a foot of soil above the retracted head, that makes the riser bottom below 2 1/2 ft, what a monumental task to install and fix...

    Found shorter versions of this video on an image search, but no idea about where it might be from...
