That looks like they demolished internal support walls, and the columns that were contained within them, and now have to recast the columns for structural building support. At least that's my take seeing the remanents of the walls at the ceiling level, I'm guessing they are going to put forms around them, and cast a beam back in place. I wonder whom the sign off structural support engr. is? Must be some upper story, as that's how buildings collapse. But I'm guessing.
