The guy with the funnel may have been priming with sugar water to carbonate beer. Other than that, I don't know.?

He's adding concentrated syrup and the capping setup fills it with carbonated water just before the cap is put on. This is soda, not beer.

Counterfeit Mountain Dew? I'm sure that's not a licensed operation. You're right though. I think they are making some kind of soft drink.

I think my balls are cleaner. Reminds me of that scene in Slumdog Millionaire where the kids were supergluing the breakaway tabs back on plastic bottles.

...although, ever go into a busy dive bar and see how they clean the glasses? It's pretty similar.

so... probably find this is actually sanctioned by whoever owns mountain dew as their distribution model in this country/region. When I was in PNG the schweppes distribuition model included a lot of elements which would be severly frowned on in first world countries like USA and Australia (bottle clean reuse, cigarretes rolled in newspaper, etc)
I do recall one time buying a bottle of soft drink and swigging it back and felt something touch my lips - I looked in the bottle and there was the corpse of a gecko floating in the fizzy drink. Given the bottle was sealed with the crown top lid and I opened it, it meant the bottle clean/refill had not spotted the gecko, and refilled over it. Needless to say I didn't feel overly great about finishing that bottle.
