Absolutely. I wonder if these will be loose or have very poor clamping force. Even if you can't get the shank red hot, very hot will do. You'll still get thermal contraction if it cools from 500 degrees down to ambient. Not as good, but better than nothing. But they heated this so fast that I don't think it got there.
