    Rotary Table Chuck Mount

    I have two chucks for my Logan lathe with 2-1/4" - 8 threaded mounts. A 8" 4 jaw and a 6" 6 jaw.
I wanted to be able to mount them on my 10" Rotary Table. The table has a MT-3 center hole. So I made a MT-3 spindle with a 3/4"-10 Thread on top and a 1/2"-13 thread in the bottom. The top thread to for mounting adapters on the table. The bottom thread its for a draw bolt, to keep the spindle tight. This adapter is the first for the lathe chucks. I am planning an Alu. platte also. All mounting will be self-centering. The spindle is w-1 drill rod and the 2-1/4"-8 adapter is 1018 CRS.

    Randy,
Great to see a special way to put your chucks into more uses and your machining finishes are fantastic. Also the photos are crystal clear and very helpful for showing the details. Thanks for sharing.
