    How is this held against the steel plate? Magmatically with two tracks of magnets? Although I see it has multiple wheels.

    I don’t think it’s sand, it’s a UHP water blaster. Runs on water only. I worked in a shipyard that used something similar to this more than 20 years ago. Ours looked very much like a rotary lawnmower body, UHP waterblast and waste recovery all under the body, I believe it was held on by suction. It had wheels and tracked around the ships side all day leaving a clean SA2.5 track behind it.

    I have seen videos of those UHP blasters also, think there is one posted on HMT but I cannot find it right now. From the looks of the ground under the ship, I am pretty sure this is an abrasive blaster.
