Well the wrong way is when the doer or somebody nearby gets hurt. That being said there are probably 100's of ways to get a job done safely.
Interestingly this just makes me more interested in doing a homemade die filer that can also take blades. Once you have one I suspect that there would be many uses and it would have to be better than the stuff that is marketed as an upside down jig saw.
