What you don't see is the manpower necessary to make this thing work.
Way too many grown men trying to crowd around that thing. 2 or a maximum of 3 could have affixed the 20 bags in much less time.

I would think that many men (people) could have filled more bags by hand... Sometimes we try to over automate things...
WOW That is the cats ass.
That thing is a nightmare to set up. Definitely needs some design work on the bag preparation

One person could probably fill more sand bags in a days time with that rig than the fancy machine shown previously could in two days with a cadre of folks helping.
