what are the advantages to a swingblade mill over a band mill if I may ask. I have a EZ Boardwalk band mill and I have not run into any situation yet that from 3' to 16' I could not mill a log. The swing blade seems to be very limited in the width of cut. An EZ Boardwalk can mill up to ~40" wide. The video makes it look like it would work on short logs very well. Always looking to learn something new! Are there issues with kick back or self feeding? My mill has the blade set at 15 deg. from square, in wide/tough wood there is some self feeding with a sharp blade due to the angle. hope some one can help you more than this.
