    Saying hi, artist, metal worker/jeweler

Hi, I just joined and looking for ideas for building micro versions of metal working tools like rolling mill (to make small sheet metal (both ferrous & non ferrous), bead roller, tubing benders, small dies for my arbor press ... I work mostly with 1/4" or smaller tubing & 8" x 10" x 18-20ga. Sheet metal. I also cast non-ferrous metals and looking to make forms for 6" or smaller diameter jewelry or sculpture projects. I use a Smith 'Little Torch'/propane/oxygen generator set up with small crucibles. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently attempting to build a micro bead roller using small nylon rollers used for closet doors.

    Thanks,
    Deb

Hi Deb - welcome to HomemadeTools.net

Interesting work. I wonder if any of our existing builds can be miniaturized for your use, like this one: Sheetmetal Brake full set plans & materias
