    Why was oncoming traffic in the the right lane? Since oncoming traffic was in the right lane he should of just drove in the left lane to start.

    Several countries drive on the left side of the road. The reason why the driver didn't simply approach the tunnel in his proper lane of travel was the radius of the turn was less than the length of the semi could negotiate
