I wonder if that huge hose has anything to do with the collapse?
The people seem to be pretty nonchalant until the second wave of surface failure.

The people seem to be pretty nonchalant until the second wave of surface failure.

This happened about a month ago. It was apparently caused by a water line leak around a subway construction site. Hopefully they got all the underground workers out of there before the collapse.
