Home made drill powered wood lathe

I have wanted to learn how to turn wood on a lathe for a long time. I have done some metal lathe work, but it's not quite the same. I couldn't see spending a bunch of money on a lathe just to see if I would like it or not, so I figured I would just make one "real quick" and see how it works. It turns out (pun intended) that I like woodturning a lot. There are obviously a lot of improvements to make to the design I came up with, and I will cover those in the future.
