I've seen what a Black bear can do to get into a vehicle for the cooler left inside by a turon, by just pealing down the door, (they read Igloo very well) and they only weigh about 250. These guys weigh ~400lbs, can jump 12+ feet and eat about 20lbs a setting. Wonder if that mesh would really hold up? I would think a Rollling drop...better yet an air drop, would be the best sense.

Lol.
Irvine, CA 1978. There was an attraction named "Lion Country Safari". You drove through in your private vehicle [no convertibles!] among elephants, hyenas, cape buffalo, rhinos, gazelle, lions; the works. A very reasonable simulation of African veldt/ savanna, with hidden fences.
I drove the 65 El Camino, dating my Buenos Aires exchange student. Well, halfway through a rhino occupied the warm asphalt dang near full width. The wardens in zebra striped Broncos arrive, shooing him off with BB rifles. Not much farther, we felt the little Chevelle chassis tremble and squat, with a lioness peeking in the back window, of course standing in the bed. I so wanted a picture but couldn't frame a 70's era selfie with a 200mm lens. The BB gangsters rolled up, missed my windows, and I got the best hugs ever.
