Simple height marker
While building my Astro van i narrowed the existing rear wheel tubs. After I had cut them out I had to mark a line so I could trim them off at an even height. I simply hose clamped a Sharpie to my scribe and set it at the required height. With the tubs clamp square to the table it was quick job to get them both marked at the same width.
