Here are some photos of the simple mounting arrangement, that I used on my RF-30 clone (mill-drill) for support of m y iGaging display heads. The materials are all commonly available from the local 'big box' hardware/homecenter...


Materials list:
3/8" dia mild steel round bar
1/2" square tube
Approx 3" x 8" scrap of Sheet metal...Can vary depending on personal preference...
Flat washers to fit the round bar
Wire (zip) ties

The displays are arranged for the mill-drills three axis (i.e., X, Y, Z), from top to bottom in alphabetical order...
